Commercial Guarantee („Herstellergarantie“)
for products of beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG

(Stand: November 2025)

1. Guarantee Provider
The Guarantee provider is beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG, Theresienstr. 8, 74072 Heilbronn, Germany, registered with the Commercial Register of the Local Court of Stuttgart under HRA 101400 (hereinafter “beyerdynamic”).

2. Who is entitled to a Guarantee claim and in which countries does the Guarantee apply?
2.1 All end consumers who have purchased a new product either directly from beyerdynamic or from an authorized dealer (see https://www.beyerdynamic.de/service/haendlersuche) are entitled to this Guarantee.

2.2 This Guarantee applies worldwide.

3. For which products does the Guarantee apply, and which items are excluded?
This Guarantee applies to all products listed in the beyerdynamic product catalog at https://www.beyerdynamic.de.

The Guarantee does NOT cover the following items:

• Free promotional products or paid fan merchandise (e.g., thermal mugs, T-shirts, caps, jackets, etc.);
• Accessory items that are included with the product;
• Batteries and rechargeable batteries;
• Head pads, ear pads, foam microphone windshields and all product parts that come into direct contact with the body during use;
• Bags and similar accessories; and
• Parts subject to normal wear and tear.

4. When does a Guarantee case exist?
A Guarantee case exists if, during the Guarantee period, a defect occurs in the product (“Defect”), in particular a material or manufacturing defect.

5. Guarantee period
5.1 The Guarantee period for new products is 24 months.

5.2 For products marked as B-stock (refurbished or returned products with possible cosmetic imperfections), the Guarantee period is 12 months.

5.3 For cables (fixed, detachable, or included as accessories), the Guarantee period is 3 months.

5.4 The Guarantee period begins on the date of purchase, which must be proven by the original purchase receipt.

6. Guarantee Services
6.1 In the event of a Guarantee claim, beyerdynamic will, at its own discretion and at its own expense, either repair the product, replace the product or defective parts free of charge, exchange the product for an equivalent product, or, in exceptional cases, reimburse the current market value of the product. Replaced products or parts become the property of beyerdynamic.

6.2 The above remedies are exhaustive. Under this Guarantee, beyerdynamic does not compensate for financial losses, downtime costs, rental or loan equipment costs, travel expenses, loss of profits, or similar damage.

7. How to assert a Guarantee claim
7.1 End customers in the EU may assert Guarantee claims with beyerdynamic or an authorized dealer (https://europe.beyerdynamic.com/service/dealer-finder). A Guarantee claim form is available at https://europe.beyerdynamic.com/service/warranty.

End customers outside the EU should contact the authorized distributor for their country (https://europe.beyerdynamic.com/service/dealer-finder)

7.2 A purchase receipt (invoice or sales slip) is required as proof that the product was purchased within the Guarantee period.

For further information on the procedure for asserting warranty claims, please refer to the warranty form or the instructions provided by the authorized dealer, the distributor responsible for your country, or an authorized service partner.

7.3 The costs for sending the product to the service location and for the return shipment after repair or replacement are borne by beyerdynamic.

8. Exclusions from Guarantee
Guarantee claims are excluded in the following cases:

• Minor defects that do not affect the intended use or value of the product;

• Defects caused by improper use, misuse, incorrect operation, mechanical damage, incorrect voltage or use for non-intended purposes;

• Defects resulting from failure to observe operating or maintenance instructions;

• Damage resulting from use deviating from the product's intended specifications;

• Defects caused by modifications without prior written approval from beyerdynamic;

• Damage caused by force majeure;

• Defects known at the time of purchase;

• Defects caused by use of non-original accessories;

• If the product label, serial number or security label has been removed or altered;

• If unauthorized repair attempts have been made;

• Counterfeit products or products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

9. Governing Law
To the extent permitted by law, this Guarantee is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

Mandatory consumer protection laws in the consumer’s country of residence remain unaffected.

10. Your statutory rights as a purchaser
10.1 Your statutory rights against the seller remain unaffected.

10.2 beyerdynamic and the seller are jointly and severally liable pursuant to § 421 BGB.

11. Jurisdiction for Entrepreneurs
11.1 For entrepreneurs, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Heilbronn, Germany.

11.2 For consumers, the statutory jurisdiction rules apply.

12. Severability Clause
Should any provision of this Guarantee be or become invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provision.
